  • Side steering
  • Elevator
  • Electromagnetic throttle valve in the nose of the fuselage
  • Air pump capable of pumping air into a 300-liter chamber to replace released gas, thereby keeping the hull inflated and maintaining an overpressure of 3 mb (approx. 0.003 at). Power consumption: 8 watts
  • Valve for controlled release of water ballast (max. 200 g)

More interesting data

The casing is made of 0.013 mm thick, metallized plastic film, weighs 350 g, and consists of 12 strips,

which are glued together with diluted contact adhesive. The total length of the adhesive joints is approximately 100 m.

The two control units for the elevator and ailerons are mounted in the rear of the fins. The fins themselves have a very lightweight balsa wood frame and are covered with film.

The five motor nacelles and the main nacelle are made of foam (Rohazell).

The remaining parts of the remote control system and the battery are not installed in the main nacelle, but in a recessed compartment in front of the center of the fuselage, where the center of gravity required it.

The development and construction of the entire airship took approximately 400 hours.

The material costs (excluding the remote control system) totaled approximately 700 Swiss francs.
