The New F3A-National Aerobatics Program

The new regulations, featuring illustrations by Kurt Müller of Wohlen, will be sent to the groups shortly.

The new program will be flown on a trial basis at this year’s Swiss Championships and will be officially introduced in 1979. Additional copies of the regulations can be requested from the Central Secretariat, Lidostr. 5, 6006 Lucerne.


Excerpt from the Rules and Regulations

The maneuvers must be performed in the prescribed order. A maneuver must be performed on every pass—with the exception of the pass immediately after takeoff and the pass following the spin.

The competitor has only one attempt at each maneuver. He has 8 minutes for the flight. The model must take off after 3 minutes.
