MG Münchenbuchsee: 2024 Exhibition
In mid-March 2024, the time had come again: After a two-year hiatus, the MG Münchenbuchsee held its exhibition. The hall and foyer of the parish hall in Münchenbuchsee set some limits for us: The number of models has leveled off at around 120, all built by hand and often even designed from scratch.
You won’t find any large-scale models here: We exhibit mostly models that are flown regularly. The stage featuring Pilatus models—all built to roughly the same scale—and the small models featured in the 2/2024 issue of MFS proved to be crowd favorites. There was a surprising amount of interest in the various building stations: Visitors watched with remarkable patience as helicopter parts were assembled, EPP parts for a Schleicher Ka-6CR were cut using a hot wire, and Depron models were built. A large portion of the audience consisted of model aviators from friendly model flying clubs—we’d like to thank them warmly for their interest! Attracting an audience from outside the model-building scene remains something of a challenge—we’ll continue to work on it...!
