Indoor and Valais

On February 9 and 10, 2008, the clubs from Sierre and Sion organized the must-attend indoor meet in Valais.

Members of Gam Sion handled the setup and takedown of the facilities, while the Sierre members managed the event itself—including operations, flights, and the cafeteria—for a total of nearly 35 volunteers who worked to ensure the weekend ran smoothly. Forty-one Swiss and French pilots joined us, and everyone was able to fly, chat, and share experiences. We extend our warmest thanks to them for helping make this event a success. Simon, the flight coordinator, organized various activities for us: a pylon race, precision landing, night flights, and on Sunday afternoon, a

sudden death. In the kitchen, Estelle and her team prepared delicious meals all weekend long, paired with local wines. See you next year for another edition.
