A new model-making specialty store in the Glarus region: HGLA, HEER, Glarus

After a long search for a suitable retail space, C. and F. Heer finally succeeded in opening a model-making specialty store on November 16, 1974. Everyone was invited to tour the store while enjoying refreshments and talking shop. The former sporting goods store was transformed into a small—but excellent—model-making specialty shop with a surprisingly diverse selection of products.


There will certainly be no shortage of expert advice at this store, as those in the know are aware that the owner has 10 years of experience in model aviation.

We hope that the opening of this store will help give the model aircraft movement in the Glarus region a boost. Thanks to this store, it now seems possible that our mountain valley might occasionally produce top competitors in model aviation—rather than in soccer, as has been the case until now.
