17th Alpine Model Aircraft Camp, Hahnenmoos

This year, we were greeted by winter at Hahnenmoos. A cold west wind swept across the snow-covered mountain landscape. Fortunately, this spell of winter weather was short-lived; by Sunday, the skies had cleared, and the 2 female and 24 male participants were able to make their first flights with their glider models.

This year’s survey of the young participants revealed that they particularly appreciated the excellent guidance from the leadership team, the balsa glider building and competition, and the free flying.
