GAM Yverdon-les-Bains’ Friendly Get-Together and Vintage Day: Pure Joy!

So it was with great enthusiasm that the members of GAM Yverdon welcomed their model-building friends for a packed weekend. The icing on the cake was the perfect weather, which contributed to the success of this wonderful weekend.

What a contrast between the state-of-the-art models, brilliantly showcased on Saturday, and the exceptional “trapanelles” admired on Sunday. By way of example—since an exhaustive list of the displays seen over those two days would be far too long— let’s highlight Anthony Rossetti’s breathtaking performance with his Chengdu J-10 jet featuring a thrust vectoring nozzle, and for Sunday, the Hungarian Tàltos glider presented by Jean-Claude Sotto, as well as the A 10 by Michel Auberson and Alexandre Bornand.

May all the enthusiasts present on those days forgive us for not mentioning them by name, and may they be thanked for the good-natured spirit that prevailed throughout those two days. The members of GAM Yverdon look forward to seeing everyone again at their traditional swap meet, which will take place on Saturday, October 29, at the Salle de la Marive in Yverdon-les-Bains. ■
