MG Sulzer and the Swiss Aerobatic Team have created a win-win situation through a joint venture. The dual use of the infrastructure for the Contest Eurotour competition and a fascinating air show complemented each other perfectly.

Many practice flights had already taken place on Thursday, allowing the pilots to prepare perfectly for the competition. On Friday, we were able to start right on time at 10:00 a.m. and completed four compulsory routines spread out over the course of the day. Exhausted but happy, the pilots headed to their accommodations for the night. Some enjoyed the hotel, while others camped at the airfield.

Saturday was the big day for everyone. We had scheduled two compulsory routines for the morning and the freestyle flights for the afternoon, preceding the air show and night show. The schedule ran like Swiss clockwork, and all parts of the program flowed seamlessly into one another. With the freestyle routine in the afternoon, we got the spectators in the mood for the upcoming air show. We received a lot of positive feedback. With so many memorable moments, we looked forward to the final day on Sunday.

On Sunday morning, we got down to business at 9:00 a.m. with the final compulsory routine. The spectators who had traveled to the event were able to marvel once again at our aerobatic program. Right on time at 10:30 a.m., the airshow team took the reins.

After a brief data review, we were able to announce the rankings before lunch. Thanks to the support of Andy Kläui, Heinz Etter, and the members of MG Sulzer, this all-around perfect event concluded with the air show on Sunday evening. Together, we achieved a great deal and gained new experiences.
