Cap 21 RC Aerobatic Large-Scale Model by robbe

4

The Robbe Cap 21 is a scale replica of the French aerobatic aircraft. It is suitable for the R1/X competition class. The model is fully capable of performing aerobatics and, with the appropriate motorization, can fly all required maneuvers.

The Cap 21 is assembled from just a few highly prefabricated components. The Plura prefabricated fuselage combines low weight with high strength.

The wings, constructed using the Siros method, are designed to be separable for easier transport. The large, two-piece cowl allows for the installation of various powerplants, depending on the application.

For recreational flying, a 10-cc engine with the gear unit (Part No. 7630) is sufficient. More demanding requirements can be met by installing two 6.5-cc engines in the gear unit. Competition pilots have the option of installing two 10-cc engines to achieve the extra power needed for vertical maneuvers.

Contents of the assembly kit:

Plura fuselage, Siros wings and tail surfaces, molded two-piece engine cowling, molded cockpit, transparent canopy, wing mounts, pre-bent double main landing gear, wooden parts for fuselage construction and for completing the wings and tail surfaces, construction plans, assembly instructions, and self-adhesive decals.

*Below: The company robbe is also trying its hand at a large-scale model. The design of this CAP 21 appears to be well-developed. Please don't forget: Models weighing more than 5,000 g must be registered with the Federal Office of Civil Aviation in Bern!*
