Bruno Giezendanner's ninth consecutive victory

4

This year’s F3A Swiss Championship was hosted by MG Diessenhofen at its airfield near Truttikon. The airfield features a 50-meter paved runway, which—along with the one in Bendern (1972)—was very welcome after the numerous grass runways of previous years. However, due to occasional storm-like westerly winds, landings had to be made on gently sloping terrain, which posed a particular challenge for models with good gliding performance.
