Issue 3/2025
When the snow melts, it flows as water into streams and lakes. It’s not hard to tell what the cover story in this issue is about. Seaplane flying has its own special appeal, whether it’s building a seaplane—as Michael Breitenmoser demonstrates with his Grumman Albatross—or flying and landing on water. Some have even needed a rubber dingo or a boat to recover their model, but on the other hand, there are usually no obstacles above the water’s surface.
Distinguished visitors met with participants in the YoungSilentWings model-building course in Dübendorf. This successful youth development program by the NOS serves as an excellent example of how we can promote youth involvement in model aviation.
