HOW

Dear Reader,

We’ve received some positive feedback on the new look of *modell-flugsport*. There will certainly be a few minor adjustments to come, but we’re on the right track. The new “Youth / Jeunesse” section still needs to find its footing, so we continue to rely on your reports.

Occasionally, we also receive written feedback on the content of articles, and the editorial team is sometimes criticized—which can actually be quite helpful. Constructive criticism is welcome here at the editorial office, because criticism is always a “free tip” for improvement.

But in my view, there’s no arguing about how criticism should be presented. Emotions are part of it, but one should be able to maintain decorum.

My sense of decency prevents me from going into further detail about this publicly; I’m only concerned with the manner in which it’s expressed.

Another form of “manner” is the P-16, a unique jet model that we’re featuring in our cover story—a model airplane created by two model-building enthusiasts. A masterpiece and a memento of “the good old days.”

We can look forward to seeing what models we’ll be able to marvel at this year from hobbyists’ workshops. We recommend you visit the DIY and Blueprint Meetup in Huttwil at the end of June.

I hope you enjoy the articles in this issue.

Markus Nussbaumer
