Sensational Performance: Ennio Graber Takes Bronze

Ennio Graber from Ticino caused a real sensation at the F3C World Championships in Muncie, Indiana, USA, as he broke through the Japanese-North American dominance to finish in third place. Apart from him, only one other European—Bernhard Egger of Austria (9th place)—managed to do the same. Ennio was able to firmly establish himself among the top contenders as early as the first rounds. In the final flights, he secured the bronze medal by winning one heat and achieving several other top finishes. In the team competition, the Swiss, with Mark and Hans Emmenegger, achieved a remarkable 7th place behind the U.S., Japan, the surprising Austria, Italy, England, and France, and ahead of Germany.
