Rogers' latest work – Junkers

von Markus Nussbaumer

Roger Steiner is known for his fondness for German airplanes. He has already brought Messerschmitt and Focke-Wulf models to the model airfield.

Something I didn’t know for a long time—Roger usually builds his models himself; I only realized this when Roger once brought a Hawker Hunter (which he built himself) to the airfield. I’d like to take a closer look here at his latest creation, a Junkers CL.1 J-10, which I hadn’t heard of at all until now. Conclusion: The build was labor-intensive and required a great deal of patience. The machine guns, in particular, really tested Roger’s patience. The Junkers flies without any problems and is clearly a joy to fly. The result is a complete success, both visually and in terms of flight performance. We can’t wait to see what Roger will present next from his hobby room. ■
