For the individual competition, each pilot had to perform a required aerobatic routine and a precision landing (approach and landing within a rectangular pattern with the engine at the lowest possible RPM).

For the flight formation competition (3 aircraft), a program consisting of 5 maneuvers had to be performed. The following bonus was added to the points earned during this flight:

• Flight consisting of 3 identical aircraft: +60 pts
• Semi-scale models: +30 pts
• Identical livery on all 3 aircraft: +15 pts
