Great aviation program in Winterthur

von Hermann Mettler
4

Every two years, MG Sulzer hosts a model aircraft fly-in. Although July isn’t always completely rain-free, the organizers hadn’t set an alternate date. Experienced spectators simply arrived that Sunday wearing rain gear or bringing umbrellas. As a reward for coming, they were treated not only to a fantastic flight program in the sky but also to wonderful lighting effects. While the model airplanes in the foreground were brightly illuminated by the sun, dramatically dark thunderclouds loomed in the background. The photographer tried to capture some of these very special moments for MFS readers. Hermann Mettler
