Bruno Kempter, who opened his specialty store in Wettingen on September 25, has been an avid model airplane enthusiast himself for many years. His hobby and the technical skills he gained from his previous career led him, some time ago, to start performing repairs for colleagues and friends, sourcing materials, installing remote controls and other equipment, and “breaking in” finished models. He now offers his expertise not only to “hardcore” model aviators but, above all, aims to provide beginners with sound advice when making a purchase and to assist them afterward with assembly or test flights.

His selection includes a particularly wide range of glider models with wing spans from 30 to 450 cm, with about 50 models in stock. So he has just the right thing on hand for both experienced enthusiasts and interested

boy alike—whether as ready-to-fly models or kits. In addition, “Aufwind-Modelle” naturally also carries motorized airplanes, cars, and more.

Bruno Kempter believes that model gliding could be an ideal and peaceful hobby for many. If you don’t buy a ready-to-fly model, it takes a little

patience for the assembly work, but then—often for hours on end—the model pilot finds himself out in the open, breathing fresh air, and letting his imagination run wild. He’ll be happy to show you himself just what you can do with such an airplane. The store is open all day during regular business hours. Special grand-opening offers available through December 1979.
