Eastern Region – Model Aircraft Building with Seniors

Upon retiring, Frédéric felt the desire to start a model-building group for seniors with other retirees. He found another member in Urs Hobi, a master carpenter at Pestalozzidorf. Frédéric asked me to help the senior group with building and flying their models. So, about a year ago, we set up a meeting at the carpentry shop in Pestalozzidorf. First, we built a small balsa wood glider and got familiar with the craft. What a great idea! A heartfelt thank you to Frédéric and Urs!
