Highlights from 2023–2024

Actually, according to the calendar, it’s summer now. High temperatures, blazing sun, and constant sweating should be the norm.

Instead, we’ve had pleasant temperatures every day, with occasional rain—almost like in England—and weather-related disasters. Enough of that, though; this shouldn’t stop us from looking back on the past.

A year full of various model-making events here in Ticino.

This article is structured so that a brief overview sets the stage for the piece in question in *Modellflugsport*.

I think this is a good opportunity for you to reflect on these events once again.

GARIV in Lodrino, GAL in Lugano, GESV in San Vittore, and GAM2000 in Stabio. These are the clubs that regularly organize events year after year—some with international participation—thereby helping to make our sport more appealing.

This is a brief look back at the summer’s highlights, before we kick off again with the Helicopter Rally in Stabio on August 17–18, 2024. Another quick note: we’ve attached a video with a QR code that provides access to GAM2000’s events for the 2023–2024 season.
