In the new year 2026, the visual design of Modellflugsport will undergo some changes.

However, the content remains the most important aspect, and we have some news there as well. The most significant change is the new section “JUGEND-JEUNESSE.” In this section, we’d like to publish articles by and featuring young people from all over Switzerland. Through these reports, we hope to share the experiences young people have in our hobby and, in doing so, inspire more young people to take up model flying.

In this issue’s cover story, we take a closer look at the work of Andreas Locher. Andreas is a gifted cartoonist, but also a model aviator. With his wit, he creates hilarious model airplanes that bring a smile to our faces as soon as we take a closer look.
